Love the idea of all $60 games having demos, but it takes away resources when it’s already crunch time. You could do one earlier but it’s going to be unpolished and may not represent the final game well.
Sometimes we see demos after the fact, but usually by then the biggest selling period is over, that and they’re usually working on patches and DLC. There’s also the risk of losing sales from people who just want to try the game.
I can’t even begin to express my emotions at this news. I’ll just say, this was one of the best pieces of gaming news I’ve heard in a long time. My favorite Wii U game and easily one of the top five games the past decade for me. It was my biggest wish to see it ported to the switch. I just can’t believe it’s happening! Wow!
think it’s going to be a good show this year but i don’t expect to see a lot of new announcements.
I miss the old times, when the plot was complicated, but once you understand everything….you got one of the most iconic moments in videogame history (SSS in the end of MGS2). Not this nonsense, of hollywood showcase, overcomplicated story and pretentious declarations…..
Get rid of Death Stranding of my wishlists a long time ago.
Good to know next gen games are going to take place in dark rooms with only one character with no gameplay.
Honestly, this is why I’m getting bored of the graphics race. It’s not that I’m opposed to prettier visuals, but for god sake, at least demonstrate how it’s going to make games more fun.
Otherwise, the whole “cinematic fest” has already been perfected IMO back in 2013 with The Order.
Finally ! Awesome Starting list 👍
streaming will not be the future until fast affordable internet with unlimited bandwidth is available for everyone. And comparing it to video streaming like Netflix is bad because high latency and poor response time is very obvious in gaming.
And this is before the fact that with streaming, you don’t own any of the games. It’s just a service and companies get to have a strangle hold on their customers. They can pull the plug whenever they want and you can’t do shit about it.
